Applications are open and will close Jan 31st! Please follow the below requirements and rules. All communication will be handled through a discord server. An invitation will be emailed to you upon selection!-you must apply at the link below. Applications outside of the official google form will NOT be considered
-your application portfolio must include at least: one piece with a background, one fully colored/rendered piece in your style, and one piece that is a full body pose. Experience drawing transformers is optional!
-Fully colored art with backgrounds will be prioritized
-applicants must be 18+
The zine will be printed if there is enough interest! A total of 30 artists (plus the mods) will be accepted. Only one piece per artist is allowed, but there may be opportunities to make additional merch to bundle with the zine.art requirements are:
-CMYK color profile
-minimum 300dpi
-estimated page size will be 5.5x8.5". you should account for bleedfurther requirements will be detailed in the server!
Q: Who are the mods?
A: Our mods are onionned, plushisheep, and springy!Q: What currency is being used? How will the zines be sold?
A: Currency will be in USD and shipping will be from the US! Multiple mods have experience with online selling and we will coordinate a storefront when the zine is completed. Profit will primarily go towards production, this is tba and will be determined (along with the cost) closer to selling time!Q: What can I draw for this zine?
A: ANYTHING HOT ROD! G1, IDW, Hot Rod, Rodimus, anything related to him! Your piece must be focused on some variation of Hot Rod.Q: Is there an age limit on the zine?
A: To participate as an artist, you must be at least 18! The content of the zine will be SFW/suitable for teens. This means no: nudity, graphic violence, or sexual content.Q: Are other characters allowed?
A: Other characters are allowed as long as Roddy is the focus of the piece! No OCs are allowed.
